Alicia Vikander

licia vikander is a Swedish-born actress. The romantic comedy The Danish Girl,' she won an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. At the beginning of her career Vikander started out as a performer for children at the Gothenburg Operetta. Later, she appeared on the television screen, in short films, and in various telefilms. One of her most memorable roles was portraying Josefin Bjorn Tegebrandt in the Swedish soap production 'Andra Avenyn' ('Second Avenue'). In her debut film, the Swedish drama 'Pure', she received the Guldbagge Award as Best Actress. Her name gained international attention with her historical roles in "Anna Karenina' as well as A Royal Affair. She has become widely known in recent years for a diverse range of roles, such as Vera Brittain (an activist) in Testament of Youth, Ava the humanoid robotic in Ex Machina, and Gaby teller in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Her most well-known role is her legendary role as Lara Croft, in the "Tomb Raider.' She's married to Germany-born Irish actor Michael Fassbender.
